Good morning, friends!
Let me start by saying the most heartfelt thank you for your sweet, sweet words yesterday on Part One of our wedding photos. You guys melted my heart! But really, it's in a puddle on the ground all bloody and stuff...kind of gross. How do I always get so off track? Anyways, truly, thank you. It was the best day ever, and there is so, so much more comin' at ya :)
Today i'm sharing the pictures from our beautiful ceremony, pictures with the whole gang together, and of course the ones with those who matter most, our amazing families. Remember to contact Kris Skurja for any of your wedding photography needs. She is amazing.
Psssttt...if you're into this kind of thing, I posted a quick, 2.5 minute video all about our honeymoon on my YouTube Channel, and later today there will be the worlds longest 25 minute video that has a little vlog from every single place we went. We filmed it mostly for ourselves, and it's highly inappropriate and pretty hilarious, but if you're into that sort of thing...it'll be posted! Okay! Lets get started!
I'm fairly certain we win the award for best lookin' bridal party around. Seriously, guys, why don't you model?
I was pinning Jake with his bout here, and we were laughing that it was just like the time I made him bleed at my highschool prom ;)
The Roses! I couldn't be marrying into a more fantastic family. I didn't know it was possible, but they are on par with the crazy train that is my family, so it feels right at home ;)
Have I told you yet that my emotions were on the HOT MESS EXPRESS this day? I would just randomly start crying my eyes out. My Mom started making faces at me halfway through to keep me from getting Kim Kardashian face during our family pictures. It worked :)
This woman is the best person in the entire world. I love my Grandma with all of my heart! Almost every time we looked at each other this day it was a giant tear-fest. I don't know what i'd do without her.
My side of the fam
Jakes side of the fam
I need to do a post in the future that is nothing but stationary. I designed alllllll of our paper goods and this was one of my favorites. Tissue included for happy tears :)
Jake said the entire time he was up there waiting he thought he was going to throw up. Poor guy! Little did he know I was screaming "GET ME A TRASH CAN!" while we waited too. Whats a wedding without a little nervous vomit? I kid, I kid.
This picture is everything.
Jakes Vows were so personal, and so sweet. I couldn't believe he wrote them himself. Clearly, I was dying.
and so were they ;) These girls are ingenious. They stuffed tissues into the white flowers in their bouquets. No runny makeup here!
Something hilarious, clearly.
We took our first communion as husband and wife, and then our bridal party gathered around us, and all our friends and family lifted us up in prayer, blessing the start of our marriage! It was one of my favorite moments.
and if you can't tell by my face, we were just pronounced hitched! :)
So, funny moment. Jake dropped me in that dip hahaha. He stepped on my train, and was afraid of ripping my dress, and he just tripped and lost it. But we recovered, and the pictures are hilarious so it was so worth it. And no ripped dress either.
My sister, Kassidy, and Jakes oldest brother, Josh makin' our marriage official
This is one of my favorites! Who am I kidding. They're all my favorites.
And that was a wrap! We did it! We're married! Tomorrow I will get down with all of the goodies from our Reception. It was one heck of a party. I can't wait to share!
Until Next Time,
