Postpartum Hair Loss

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Dove Hair, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #MyHairStory #DovePartner  http://my-disclosur.es/OBs

All you postpartum mama's out there, get excited.

If you're like me, you suffered serious hair loss after you had your little ones. I've always had thick, luscious locks, and about 7 months into pregnancy my hair started breaking and falling out by the fistful. You know, cause those babes don't put us through enough ;)

Cute baby, insane flyways. I couldn't put my hair into a bun or pony tail because it literally looked like I had sad little bangs and it was a mess.

That is, until I started using the NEW Dove Hair Regenerative Nourishment collection. It works together to reduce breakage, nourish your locks, and create a gorgeous head of hair that is visibly damage free.

I can finally pull my hair up again! I've noticed a shinier, more full appearance to my hair since i've been using the trio, and I was so excited to pull my hair half-up for Valentines day, yesterday.

With a part on either side of my nose, I pulled a thick section of hair back, teasing for volume.

I used 3 hairpins to secure it back, and brushed a little tease into the crown of my hair.

I used a tiny bit of Dove Hair oil and my comb to smooth it out a little bit, and because it was Valentines day, I added a sweet little bow!

That was that! I popped on a red coat and it was off to Valentines breakfast for us. :)

Dove Hair has been my best friend the past few weeks. Next time you are at Target, grab the new Dove Hair Regenerative Nourishment Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum in Oil.  Your hair will thank you!

There has been some CRAZY excitement in the Rose household lately, as in, we sold our house and are hopefully buying a new one. Stay tuned for a big old life updated!

Until Next Time,

  1. Ughhh. Long time fan of the blog, but these posts (this one, that stupidly expensive baby monitoring sock one) feel so fake! :(

I know you disclaim that it's your real opinion, but "that is, until I started using...", etc feels like a terribly annoying commercial. It actually makes me want to NEVER use the products, because its such a major eye roll. Hope you can regain what you had going on with this blog.

    1. Hi there!

Thank you so much for being a loyal reader. I genuinely appreciate the feedback!

I hope you know that I would never recommend a product that I do not actually use or enjoy. My son wears his owlet monitor every night, and since using the Dove hair system I have really noticed less flyaways and damage.

With that being said, my blog is also a business. I'm a mom, have a full time job outside of my blog, and in order to keep up with the incredible time commitment (& cost!) of hosting this website, I have to take on sponsored posts occasionally.

I do apologize you haven't felt like I've been engaged in my blog content, I admittedly have been in a bit of a lull as I've headed back to work and adjusted to life as a working mom.

The good news is, there will be a whole host of new content headed your way as we embark on a new journey (more on that tomorrow!)

Again, I appreciate the feedback and I hope you'll continue to stick around, and maybe try one of the products that sponsor this blog sometimes, because they all do come highly recommended by me.

      Xo,
      Kylie

    2. Makes sense, I respect that. It seems that all of my "regulars" blogs have kicked up the advertising lately, but that's probably just a minorly annoying but random/innocent coincidence. It's your blog, and you haven't lost me as a reader or anything. Excited to see what your next move is, I follow you on Insta and have been wondering since I saw that post about putting your house up for sale!

  6. As more and more follicles stay in the Tologen phase less new hair is being produced. This results in thinning and ultimately, balding!
