Hello Absolutely Arkansas readers! I am Sarah from Life on Virginia Street and I'm so happy to be here filling in while the beautiful {and hilarious} Kylie is off having the time of her life! For those of you that don't know me, I am a 30-something executive in the financial services industry but I am also obsessed with all things home decor, fashion, travel, pretty much anything fun and pretty. Today I thought I would give you a little tour of our home and show you some of the DIY projects I have wrapped up recently.
We moved into our current home about a year and a half ago and I am constantly working on one project or another to make the home better fit our style. I would best describe my style as casual glam. I want our rooms to feel comfortable and relaxing with a splash of glam added into the spaces. I also like to have a bit of a beach vibe going on without being overstated or super theme-y.
I thought it would be fun to share some of my latest room makeovers with you today so you can get a sense of our home and how I am gradually working to change the style so that it is more "us". I pretty much always have a project {or ten} underway and am always working to remove the beige and blah feeling from some of the space in our home. I would love for you to stop by and check them out!
