Rose & Co Blog: Christmas Tree in a Box

Christmas Tree in a Box

Disclaimer: This post was sponsored by Tiny Prints. They sent me the Custom Photo Ornament as well as the Gift Tags in exchange for this Blog Post. All opinions are my own...because seriously, they rock! A giant shout out to my new stationary go-to. :)

Hello, Friends!

Monday already?! Will someone please help me to understand why the weekends always seem to be over in a snap!

I can't believe that it's Monday already, however, I am absolutely floored that it is already NOVEMBER! I mean, where the heck did the year go? This weekend, I was able to clean up all of our Halloween D├ęcor, and start putting up everything for Thanksgiving! But, lets be real folks. Poor Thanksgiving sort of seems like an obstacle that is just keeping us from the best day of the year...CHRISTMAS!

No fears, my fellow Christmas-Craving friends! I've got a fun gift for you that is SURE to hold you off until it is socially acceptable to decorate for Christmas :)

Allow me to share my logic with you for why this gift would make the perfect "Thank You" to whomever cooks you Thanksgiving Dinner this year. Cooking a Thanksgiving meal is stressful, amiright?! And what does any red-blooded, Christmas lovin' American do the day after Thanksgiving? DECORATE! So why not kill two birds with one stone, and make your Hostess Smile, as well as give 'em a few tree trimmings to kick off their Holiday decorating marathon! Get it? Great, I'm glad you're with me :)

First, you'll need to gather some supplies. Hit up your favorite place to buy Holiday decorations, and scoop up some basics that you'd need to decorate a tree. Such as, twinkle lights, festive garland, & some cute ornaments. You're off to a great start!

Next, you'll need to go check out Tiny Prints, & grab pick out a cute custom Ornament for your gift box. You've heard of Tiny Prints, right?! They're the super-awesome, creative branch of Shutterfly, that allows you to make some seriously cute gifts. I'm not kidding! I spent hours on their site, trying to decide just what would make this box extra special. In the end, I settled on This Custom Photo Ornament, & I could not be happier with how it was delivered! You guys, these ornaments are GORGEOUS. Super high quality, heavy, and made to last for years to come. Do you think you might make your Hostess cry by picking out a super sweet photo from her Instagram & having it mounted on one these babies? I bet you might get a tear or two :)

Tiny Prints has an associate hand check your order, to make sure that your photo is the right resolution, size, and they make sure nothing is misspelled! I was so impressed with this. Their customer service was fantastic.

Once my ornament came, it was time to put this gift together!

I used the Garland as the "fluff" to sort of hold everything in place. From there, I just layered in my ornaments, lights, and a cute little homemade Christmas Tree Snowglobe (tutorial coming...promise!)

Make sure you don't leave Tiny Prints without snagging some incredibly cute Gift Tags from their Stationary Shop, so everyone knows who brought them this fun box! Seriously...we've come a long way from writing on the blank tags with a Sharpee. How darn adorable are these? Be prepared to browse for awhile...it was impossible to choose just one style!! I seriously can't wait to use my new last name. (208 days...not like i'm counting or anything) so everything this year will be from "The {almost} Roses". Yep, i'm that girl.

There is no doubt that when you bring this Hostess Gift to Thanksgiving Dinner, you'll be sent home with the best leftovers, and your hostess might sneak you an extra slice of Pie or Two ;)

Stay tuned this week for some more Thanksgiving Fun! I managed to sneak in some crafting and decorating this weekend in between naps & leftover candy eating :)

Until Next Time,

Kylie
