Well, we're back to another day on the Halloween train! Toot Toot...all aboard!
Our entry is still very bare. I have plans to work on her décor in the next few weeks, so I needed to keep the Halloween stuff pretty simple. I didn't buy anything, just simple stuff from the stash of items I already have stockpiled. :)
The bats were very simple! I've seen bats used everywhere, and I just love 'em. I just googled a bat template, and traced it onto some black construction paper...and cut em out! The old fashion way, folks. No fancy machines here!
Do you see where the ceiling makes the entry a "room"? We have thick black tarps we're going to hang from the ceiling to create the "Haunted House" for the trick-or-treaters. This way, no weirdos can see into our home, & we get to scare some kids at the same time :)
Don't be afraid to use things you have on hand to make an impact. Who knew a little bit of construction paper would add so much fun to our Halloween set up.
See you tomorrow, Friends!
