Happy Friday!
I've been just dying to share our maternity photos with you. Seriously, if you're expecting and considering doing them, I say DO IT! These were only taken 4 weeks ago, and I already can't believe how much my belly has grown in the 4 weeks since. Little man is on the move!
The pro to having a nice camera with a somewhat general knowledge of how to use it is that we have tons of pictures of me from this pregnancy. Because of that, I knew I didn't want to do traditional dress-up maternity photos outdoors. Plus, my lazy meter has hit an all time high lately, and staying in our home in comfy jammies seemed like a much better option!
Our photographer, Jessica, at Jessica Robinson Photography captured our lazy morning so perfectly. It was such an easy and care-free morning and even my husband who hates taking pictures more than anything said it was the best photoshoot we've ever done. Hooray!
In other news, i've hit the pregnancy wall. My fingers and feet are so swollen that it hurts to walk, and I have so much uncomfortable pressure in my lady parts that i'm just about over it. When we were checked on Wednesday this week she said i'm 1.5 dilated and 85% effaced, and that she thinks it will be sometime in the next week or two, but you never know with stubborn first babies so i'm doing my best to remain patient! Last night I had three 2 minute contractions about 25 minutes apart, and I was getting hopeful that they would continue, but they tapered off, I went to bed, and they haven't returned. Such a little tease, this son of mine!
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, we're planning on attending the world famous Donkey-Jump here in Northwest Arkansas. Yes, you read that right. Donkey jump. Good ole' Southern fun!
Until Next Time,
Wow, I love these!! Obsessed with the black and white sideways silhouette picture!! Now on my must do list for my next pregnancy! As a fellow NWAer I had to look up the donkey jump, hadn't heard of it before, looks fun!
ReplyDeleteOh girl... you missed quite the experience at the donkey jump! It was...fascinating to say the least ;)
DeleteKylie!! These photos are gorgeous! I absolutely love this shoot. My favorite pictures (though I love them all) would probably have to be numbers 11, 12, 13, 17, 19 and 27! Great maternity session :)
