Our Thankful Home 2014

Well folks, we can officially say goodbye to Halloween until 2015. I've officially packed up all our sparkly pumpkins and bats and packed 'em away until another year passes. The crazy thing is this, it will be Halloween 2015 in the blink of an eye and i'll be packing back up again!

I absolutely LOVE Christmas, I live for it. It's like the other 11 months of the year only exist to build up to December, but I just hate leaving Thanksgiving behind! This weekend I sent the hubs up to the attic to grab the boxes and we discovered something so sad :( One of my snow globes had broken in one of my Christmas boxes, and an entire box of decor was moldy, disgusting, and absolutely ruined. It completely threw me off my decorating game and I didn't have the pep to go all out for Thanksgiving. So I went simple with things I already had and really just followed a lot of what I did when I decorated in 2013

My barn sign I picked up at a thrift shop for .25 cents. I love putting it up for Fall, it's so darn cute!

The biggest change in our entryway this year is that we have put up the wood wall and it fits right in with the rustic decor of the 'Er months.

It's no surprise that my Halloween Mums died, and our pumpkins are definitely on their last leg, so we just hung our happy Fall wreath with some pretty copper pumpkins and called the exterior good to go. :)

Do you decorate for Fall after Halloween or do you jump right into Christmas? Thanksgiving needs love too!

I hope you all have the best work week!

Until Next Time,
xo Kylie

  1. you are the cutest ever with everything you do! I love it all. I decided to do nothing but Halloween, grocery shop and tailgate this weekend, so I am not as up to date as you are with my decor.

    1. Thank you so much, sweet Emily! I've been trying to incorporate more wood into the house so it doesn't have suuuuch a feminine feel. I'm so glad you approve!
