I sure hope your Thanksgiving was filled with more food than your tummy could handle, lots of great family time, and maybe a football game or two. (we're Raiders fans in this house...don't throw tomatoes...and that loss was a little painful).
I don't know about you, but i'm incredibly excited the Christmas season is finally here. I literally have felt like i've been waiting for it since last Christmas. (oh wait...I have)
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I shared this picture yesterday. I was SO darn excited that everything was finally coming together. Today i'm here to share just a snippet or two of our Christmas Tree Decor.
I have a similar philosophy with Christmas Trees that I do with Mantels. Crowd that shit up. I mean it...the more I can throw on there the better. I want it to look like Buddy the Elf thew up sparkle dust on my Christmas tree.
We also don't do real in this house. I love the simplicity of a Fake tree. Throw it up, take it down, and you don't even have to vacuum! Our wrinkly tree skirt is from Target (sorry Wal-Mart...I still love you) as well as the cute Ho Ho Ho pillow on your right. 3 bucks for that burlap beauty! I love the dollar spot.
Jake hates it, but I really love my bow tree topper. I think its so stinking cute, but every year he begs me to replace it with a star. Also, how lonely do tree's look without presents underneath them?! Hopefully Santa makes a stop at our house this weekend :)
You can't see from far away, but sprinkled throughout our tree we have our "SD" ornaments, because San Diego will ALWAYS be our Home Sweet Home. :)
That concludes the Christmas Tree Express ride! This whole week i'll be sharing fun spots in our home...and I sure hope we can get our shit together when it comes to the outside Christmas lights. Fo' real...hanging those things is a PAIN IN THE REAR END. Wish me luck.
There may be some Free printables in tomorrows Mantle Post...I hope to see you there :)
