If we're being honest

Hi, friends.

Long time no see?! Geeze louise.

I'm struggling a bit. I just wanted to throw that out there. We're all friends here, and i've spent 3 years now sharing so much of our lives, and we're without a doubt in the most exciting, fun, "blog-worthy" stage right now, and i've got nothin' to show for it!

Last night, I got out of the shower and sat on my closet floor, and next thing I know, Jake was kicking me awake. I fell asleep in my bathrobe...on the floor. What is that?! We're on day 5 of Sawyer waking up every hour or so, and not settling once through the night. I'm also coming off of a crazy busy time at work, not to mention, we've spent the last month living in chaos as we've made the big move!

At this very moment, I have 6 draft blog posts that I have started with every intention of finishing and getting published, but I haven't had a moment to do so. I also have 164 unanswered emails from YOU that I keep wanting to reply to, but haven't made the time. I have countless text messages from friends I haven't replied to yet, and my to-do list at work is 4 word documents long.

We've had a whirlwind of a 2016 so far! We bought our dream house and sold our first house, all within a few weeks of me returning back to working full-time, and learning how to be a mom. I'm a little overwhelmed if i'm bein' real with ya. But if i'm a little overwhelmed, it's with a really really overfilled super thankful heart. I mean, I might have bags under my eyes, but have you seen my child's thighs?! Phew-thats enough to make my heart go pitter patter.

The first thing that seems to go when life gets this way is my blog. It's a huge bummer to me, because I love blogging. I love sharing my life and I love getting to know about yours. Writing is so relaxing to me, and I have become so grateful for the community and the friends i've made through blogging.

I bet by now you're wondering when i'm going to announce that i'm throwing in the towel...but i'm not! This has been a bit of a doom and gloom post, eh? I guess I just wanted to check in and let you know, i'm still here! I have so much I want to share with you, but as life gets in the way, usually the first thing to go by the wayside is my little space on the world wide web.

I miss the days when I started typing and I basically just wrote what was on my heart. I didn't worry about if the sponsor would like what I was writinig, if my instagram would get enough "likes" or if my pictures were "pinworthy." I just wrote what was going on at that time, and I think that's how I came to love blogging so much, and it's certainly how I got to know all of you so well.

So that's what I decided to do today. Write what was on my heart, and let you know i've been getting your emails, and I haven't disappeared! Of my 6 unpublished blog posts, I have a photo tour of our new home, our "to-do" list of our new home, a 5 month Sawyer update, a DIY 10 foot table for $35.00, and some amazing body care to share with you...and my goal is to wrap all those drafts up for publishing by the end of the weekend!

Make sure you're following along on instagram (@roseandcoblog) and SnapChat (absolutelykylie) to get daily doses of sweet squishy baby, and see all the behind the scenes of our home remodel.

I love you guys! Thanks for being my biggest supporters and a warm comfy hug when I need it the most.

Until Next Time,
xo,
Kylie
