The Time of My Life

Happy New Year!

I know i'm not the only one who is absolutely flabbergasted that the year has already come and gone. I don't know where it went, but in just a few short hours we'll be tipsy
counting down to midnight, and ringing in a brand new year. 2015. Let that number soak in for a second. 2000 was FIFTEEN years ago.

In true blogger fashion, I wanted to take this last day of 2014 to really reflect on the year, and thank you all for being a part of it. I wanted to summarize all that happened this year, but really, how does one go about summarizing the best darn year of their lives?!

Well let's give it a go :) If you're new to Absolutely Arkansas, you're in luck! Today is the ultimate post with every single special moment to me in 2014. Thank you for being a part of it :)

In January, I started blogging about beauty for the very first time. Thank heavens I did! I'm so happy I started blogging about the other love of my life, next to my home. The most popular post on my blog to date is my

Ya'll pinned this one over 10,000 times! Whaaat! It was before I even owned a camera other than my iPhone and will always remain one of my favorite tutorials of all time.

In February,

I launched my YouTube Channel, and although I didn't do the best job keeping up with it towards the end of the year, it was such an exciting way to branch out of my comfort zone. (Even though, lets me honest, I can't watch my videos around other people, way too awkward and embarrassing)

March was my 2nd best month of my entire year life. Friends and family rocked my world with the best weekend ever, and i've never been so thankful! Or felt more loved, or vomited as much as I did the night of my bachelorette party. #letsbehonest #sorryforthevisual

April was so uneventful! But we did a few simple DIY's, and I started getting "my wedding is next month" insomnia. And anxiety, and overwhelming excitement.

May was the best Month of the year. We had the most incredible Wedding, and i've never been so happy in my life. You guys shared the sweetest congratulations with me, and I wanted each and every one of you celebrating alongside us.

Okay, okay enough already. As if I haven't overshared these images enough ;)

June was also incredible, celebrating our honeymoon traveling through Europe. I still feel incredibly nostalgic about that amazing trip! I will forever be thanking our lucky stars we took it.

In July, it was time to get back at it. Reality set in, and I realized we had gone over 1/2 way through the year without a single home project to show for it.

makeup table

I whipped up a makeup storage area, and that kicked off the great Master bedroom redo that was just completed last weekend! :) (sharing next week...hooray!)

In August, my sweet little blog turned one (sort of), but other than that, it was pretty uneventful. We did, however, get movin' & groovin on our master bedroom (who would have thought it would take 4 months to complete) I was also so excited to share "what I wore this week" which inspired me to incorporate fashion into Absolutely Arkansas a little more frequently :)

September was FUN! For me at least. :) I finally got to share our Wedding Film with you, as well as a Master Bedroom Update, and some of my first real Fashion posts!

In October, I got back to my home-lovin' roots, and shared our 2014 Haunted Home & Our DIY Monogram Canvas Art made from our Wedding Monogram.

Of course, by now, November has flown on by without much to show for it, but I did find time to get organized, & share some Fall Fashion :)

And here we are folks, in the very last month of the year.

December was filled with cookies & Christmas Cards galore, and I can honestly look back on this year and say, I had the time of my life.

Thank you from the deepest part of my heart for being a part of it. This blog is the best part of my day, and my favorite place to share my deepest (and not-so-deep) thoughts. It's my privilege to get to share with all of you and I've been the luckiest gal ever to become fast friends with your kind, gorgeous selves! Lets ring in 2015 with one giant glass of champagne, and clink our glasses to the new best year of our lives. :)

Until Next Time,
xo Kylie

  11. When I saw the 2 words - New Year, I immediately remembered a not so pleasant situation for me.I always give gifts to my friends and family for Christmas. This time I almost broke the tradition, because I lost my job. I was not discouraged and started looking for a topresume reviews and found TopResumeWritingServices ,they are the best of their kind.
