The Ghost of Christmas Cards Past

Good morning!

TWO more days until Christmas. TWO! I can't believe it. Before I share with you our Christmas card and the ghosts of Christmas cards past, I have to share the funniest story that happened last night.

So, one thing about my dashingly handsome husband is that he is a bit...technologically challenged to put it politely. I sent him lots of links and a very detailed list of things I might want for Christmas (to avoid the great bump-it fiasco of 2010, or the toaster debacle of 2011) and some of those items were on Amazon prime, perfect for a last minute gift grabber like himself.

Well last Friday I had gotten an email that something was ordered on our Prime account, so I quickly deleted it to keep from snooping. :) 4 days passed with no packages, something i've never experienced with Prime before, and then finally, last night, a package was on the door step.

I left it on the counter for him to open and wrap, and when he did he said "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!" He had ordered a Horse collar. A literal collar, for a literal HORSE! I can't make this stuff up, y'all. I went to Amazon to check out what the problem was, and sure enough, my gifts were still sitting in the cart, yet he had managed to buy the horse collar. (Why he was looking at horse collars to begin with is just something I can't manage to understand)

So I gave him very specific instructions on how to send the horse collar back (lets see how that goes) and I told him to save my gifts in the Amazon cart for my birthday. :)

Now for the Christmas cards!

2014

This has been my favorite card ever, cause of my sweet little pup! Look at him putting his little paws out like a little beagle-model. He kills me. It was also pretty exciting to be able to say "from Jake AND Kylie Rose" :) SO thankful this year to be an official little family of 2 + our pups!

2013
This card was a little more work, but 2013 was filled with so much excitement too. You can see how I DIY'ed this card Here!

2012

I like to lovingly refer to this year as the "photoshop-happy" Christmas card. We barely even look like ourselves! My Dad shot and edited the photo and while thats one devilishly handsome fella, he does look like I snagged him straight from the LL Bean catalogue.

2011

Oh yes folks, these are baad. And by bad, I mean so, so good. This was our very first Christmas in our Condo back in San Diego, so we just had to send out Christmas cards. Cheesy poses and all. Not to mention i'm wearing a coat and scarf in San Diego and it was probably 85 degrees. And Jacob, the 90's called, they want their soul patch back ;)

Honorable Mentions:

2009 Christmas

Matching plaid = everything.

2010 Christmas

Fresh out of school and acting like we owned the place. Also, I wish my legs still looked like that. ;)

2012 Christmas

This one speaks for itself, but obviously, the day Jacob proposed. In the top 3 best days of my entire life.

2013 Christmas Morning

Our very first full picture has a fam of 3. Lovin' that little puppy face!

Thank you so much for traveling down Christmas Memory Lane with me :) No matter how busy the season, there is nothing that warms me up quite like looking through Christmas memories. I wish you and your family the absolute merriest Christmas, may you sip a little too much egg nog, and make some memories you'll laugh about for years.

Cheers!

Until Next Time,
xo Kylie
