Its a bird, its a plane, its a NEW HEADER!

  Hello my lovely bloggy friends!

Today is an exciting day for me because it marks my 20th blog post, and to celebrate i've been working on all sorts of fun things around here. Including the new header! I changed it about 3403 times, (yes that is an exact number) but I finally stuck with this one, and sort of switched around our color scheme. I also added fun buttons on the right sidebar that take you to my pinterest page, and facebook page, so we can be linked up wherever we are!

So I have the funniest explanation for the quote underneath the header. Last night Jake and I were brainstorming/researching/basically being stumped over what I should use for it, but I really wanted it to be something about change and how things are going to be so different once we move, but our hearts will be the same. Cheesy, I know, but you get it, right? Anyways, I don't know if you've seen Joe Dirt, but its one of mine and Jakes favorite movies, (soooooooo hilarious), and one of my favorite parts is when he is having the conversation with a stranger with a think red-neck accent, and the stranger says, " home is where you make it" but Joe dirt hears, "I like to see homos naked", and he is so confused and just goes back and forth about how "great! you like to see homos naked, I don't know what that does for me". Its really a funny part of the movie, you can watch this clip here:

Hilarious right?! We knew we had to make that our new life quote. So on the blog it went. Home is where you make it. Sounds good to me. :)

  1. Thanks for all the comments!! I really appreciate it.

I loved NW Arkansas when I would visit my friend there. It's a beautiful area. She lived in Fayetteville but we went all around the area. Hubs and I went to Eureka Springs to see my friend get married and it's gorgeous there. We went in mid summer, so it was hot, but that's nothing new!

    1. We're moving to a small town right outside Fayetteville, Bella Vista. Its right on Lake Windsor, and I've heard how hot it can be in the summer so I am glad we will at least have the Lake to cool off in!! It will be nice knowing I have a blog friend just to the North of us!

  2. Hi Kylie! THanks for visiting my blog and leaving such sweet comments on my Goodwill finds! I couldn't reply to your comment however because you are a "No Reply Blogger" which means that when you leave a comment on a blog, the blogger can't reply back to you. Don't worry though it is easy to fix in your profile settings. You can read how to fix it at Turnstyle Vogue blog here :

Thought I would visit your blog to let you know, as you are probably wondering why bloggers aren't replying to you! Hope this helps as you grow your bloggy network! Have a wonderful week :) Heather
